This is something that, no matter if you’re an eco conscious individual or not, has to be one of your top priorities as a member of any society. In order to find out if someone is using alternatives to plastic, it could be as simple as looking at the water bottles he/she uses. Is it a single use plastic bottle that most water sold in stores comes in, or a reusable water bottle made from recycled plastic or glass? Usable water is a scarce resource, and with the amount of people dying from drought in areas where there is water scarcity, it is no small issue. Saving water should be one of the main priorities of any eco friendly home, even if it is as simple as fixing a leaking faucet.
Checking if your house has proper plumbing installed and there are no leaks can not just help you save on utility bills, but it also ensures that your house is doing its bit to save water and promote a greener lifestyle. On top of that, saving water while doing chores such as laundry and washing the dishes can further help the eco friendly cause and save you excess water bills.
