1) Buy sustainable sheets
Buying organic sheets is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint because they are made from natural materials like bamboo and hemp fibers which decompose quickly in landfills unlike synthetic materials such as polyester or nylon. They also don’t contain harmful chemicals like formaldehyde which is used for many low-quality fabrics.
Organic sheets are also better for those who suffer from chemical sensitivities because of their lack of chemicals. Choose organic bamboo sheets. Be sure to wash your sheets once a week with biodegradable soap and separately from other clothing to avoid the spread of bacteria.
2) Ensure your room gets natural light
Your bedroom should be bright enough to see but also dark enough to sleep! The best way to make sure your bedroom is getting the right amount of natural light from the moon is to get white translucent curtains that reduce the harshness of the sunlight but let enough light at night into your room so that you’re able to have a nice, serene environment.
